Effective date: August 2, 2026
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Tarik Unal, the developer of Pirly ("Pirly," "we," "us"). By downloading or using the Pirly app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information and is part of these terms.
Pirly is a family task and rewards app. Parents set up tasks and rewards, approve completions, and track points; children complete tasks and redeem rewards their parents have created. Pirly is an organizational tool for your family — the rewards themselves are defined, promised, and fulfilled by parents, not by us.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority where you live) to create a family in Pirly. Children may use Pirly only within a family that a parent or guardian has set up, on devices that parent has invited. Parents are responsible for their family's use of the app, including supervising their children's use.
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and parent PIN confidential, and for the join codes you share. Only share your family's join code with people you want in your family, and regenerate it from Settings if you believe it has been exposed. If you don't link your family to Sign in with Apple or an email address, losing your device may mean losing access to your family's data — we may not be able to recover an unlinked family.
Points, streaks, badges, and rewards in Pirly are a motivational system inside your family. They have no cash value, are not currency or property, cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed with us, and we have no obligation to honor or fulfill any reward. Whether and how a reward is delivered is entirely between the members of your family.
You agree to use Pirly only for its intended family purpose and in compliance with applicable law. You may not attempt to access other families' data, probe or interfere with our systems or security rules, reverse engineer the app except where the law permits, or use the app to harass or harm anyone.
The information your family enters into Pirly — names, tasks, rewards, messages, and similar content — belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it solely to operate the app for your family, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the content your family members enter.
Pirly offers a free tier and optional paid subscriptions. The free tier includes core task, reward, and points functionality for one parent and unlimited children, with certain feature and capacity limits. Paid subscriptions unlock additional features such as extra parents, expanded rewards and savings, family chat, AI-generated progress reports, and the full theme and timer character libraries.
New families receive a 45-day trial with full access to all features. No payment method is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, your family is automatically moved to the free tier — no charge occurs. You can subscribe at any time during or after the trial.
Subscriptions are purchased and managed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. Prices are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. We do not process payments directly and do not have access to your payment information.
Because subscriptions are sold by Apple, cancellations and refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom and have a legal right to withdraw from a digital purchase, that right is exercised through Apple — request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We may also offer a one-time lifetime purchase option. Details and pricing are shown in the app.
If you cancel a paid subscription, your family retains access to paid features until the end of the current billing period, then moves to the free tier. No data is deleted on downgrade — existing children, tasks, rewards, points, and history are preserved. Some features may become read-only or limited, as described in the app.
The features available in each service tier may change over time. If we adjust what is included in the free or paid tiers, the change will apply only to families created after the adjustment — existing families keep the feature set that was in effect when they joined. We will provide notice in the app before any such change takes effect.
Some parent-facing features use AI to produce written summaries of your family's activity. These summaries are informational, generated automatically, and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. They are not parenting, medical, psychological, or professional advice.
Pirly is a work in progress. We may add, change, or remove features, or suspend or discontinue the service in whole or in part, at any time. Where a change is significant, we'll try to give reasonable notice in the app.
Pirly is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. Please keep your own records of anything important to your family. This section applies only to the extent permitted by law, and is subject to section 17.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of Pirly. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars ($50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. This section applies only to the extent permitted by law, and is subject to section 17.
You can stop using Pirly at any time and can permanently delete your account and data from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access to the app if these terms are violated or if we discontinue the service. Sections 5, 7, 12, 13, 16, and 17 survive termination.
Pirly is distributed through Apple's App Store. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, except where section 17 applies. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law of the country you live in.
Specifically: sections 12 and 13 do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law says cannot be limited. They also do not affect your statutory rights to digital content that works as described.
Section 16 does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory laws of your home country, and you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
If we update these terms, we'll change the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use of Pirly after a change means you accept the updated terms.
